Advocacy, Catholics Confront Global Poverty
Ask President Obama to Support a Peaceful, Stable Sudan
As the delegation of Catholic bishops from Sudan make their way to the Washington, DC area to meet with policymakers regarding their concerns about the volatile situation in their country, Catholic Relief Services and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops are reiterating the Church’s call for increased efforts by the Obama administration to build a peaceful future for Sudan.
Through Catholics Confront Global Poverty you can join the Church’s call. Visit our Action Center now to send a message to President Obama asking him to do everything he can to support peace and stability in Sudan.
Don’t forget to join us for the webcast with the Sudanese bishops tomorrow, June 16, 2-3 EST. We look forward to a vibrant discussion!
