‘Flying Nun’ Makes Good on Parachute Promise for Haiti
Well, she did it, God bless her. Sister Jane Meyer, dubbed “the flying nun,” of St. Agnes Academy in Houston made good on her promise to students that she’d jump out of a plane if they raised $25,000 for CRS Haiti relief.
To date they’ve raised more than $50,000. So Sunday, St. Valentine’s Day, she jumped out of a perfectly good airplane.
From everyone at CRS, thank you Sr. Jane, and thank you, St. Agnes Academy.
