World Report: One Million Participants in Savings Program

CRS reached a major milestone in November: one million people in 35 countries have participated in CRS’ savings groups since 2006. The savings groups help extremely poor people around the world—who can’t get loans from banks or traditional microfinance organizations—to save money and use loans to lift themselves out of poverty.
